Top 10 Perfumes!

I own a lot of perfume, I love the stuff more than I love make-up and can't resist buying a new bottle (or 5) every now and then.
I thought it would be fun to share with you my top 10 favourites that I love and will always re-purchase.

1. Britney Spears Fantasy

Top Notes: Kiwi, Red Litchi
Middle Notes: White Chocolate, Jasmine, Orchid
Base Notes: Musk, Orris Root, Woodsy Notes

My all time favourite for the past couple of years! This is an amazing fragrance but if you don't like sweet scents then stay well clear of this one, it's bordering sickly and can be too much if you overspray, however if you apply the right amount it's fantastic and you will get asked all day long what perfume you're wearing.

2. Jean Paul Gaultier Classique

Top Notes: Orange Blossom, Mandarin Orange, Star Anise, Pear, Rose
Middle Notes: Orris, Ginger, Plum, Orchid, Ylang-Ylang
Base Notes: Amber, Musk, Vanilla

My "go to" fragrance for the colder months, it's a warm, spicy floral with an hint of sweetness and one spritz will last you all day as it's quite strong.
The bottle design is amazing and I'm always tempted to get the limited editions that come out every years just so I can collect them.
I've had both the EDT and the EDP and find I prefer the EDT a little better as the dry down is a little softer and more rounded.

3. Chanel Coco Madamoiselle

Top Notes: Orange, Mandarin Orange, Orange Blossom, Bergamot
Middle Notes: Mimosa, Jasmine, Turkish Rose, Ylang-Ylang
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Opoponax,  Vanilla, Vetiver, White Musk

A good "every day & all occasions" scent, sort of odd to describe as my nose cannot pick up any of the notes listed. It's a sweet floral with an hint of muskiness in the dry down.
This fragrance is very popular and is the perfect gift for pretty much anyone, I cannot see anyone not liking this one.

4. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Top Notes: Bergamot, Green Tea
Middle Notes: Sambac Jasmine, African Orange Flower, Freesia, Rose, Orchid
Base Notes: Musk, Patchouli

A very sweet, heavy on the patchouli scent that's a little bit floral and a little bit foody.
If you're a fan of Thierry Mugler Angel I think you would love this one too as they are quite similar.
The intense version of Flowerbomb is even more amazing but is also a lot more expensive.

5. Escada Ocean Lounge
Top Notes: Litchi, Plum, Strawberry Meringue, Pear Nectar
Middle Notes: Violet, Mimosa, Jasmine
Base Notes: Amber, Vanilla, Teak Wood

Unfortunately this is no longer sold in the shops so you have to hunt around online if you want to get your hands on a bottle.
It's a sweet, bright, fruity scent that screams sunshine and holidays.
It's smells just like a big bowl of strawberry's sprinkled with vanilla sugar.

6. Tom Ford Black Orchid
Top Notes: Jasmine, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang, Bergamot, Amalfi Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Black Currant, Black Truffle
Middle Notes: Spice, Fruity Notes, Lotus, Orchid
Base Notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Amber, Incense, Vanilla, Chocolate

This is a wonderful scent but not for everyone.  It's a very deep, complex scent that can smell quite strange at first because of the Black Truffle note. Once the scent as been left to develop for 10 minutes it's amazing, very heavy and syrupy. This is a very sexy scent and it's perfect for  nights out.

7. Juicy Couture Couture Couture
Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, African Orange Flower, Grapefruit
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Plum
Base Notes: Amber, Vanilla, Sandalwood

I don't typically like very floral fragrances but this one is an exception. It's a light white floral balanced out by the deeper base notes.
On me this smells of Gardenia (which isn't listed in the notes) and honeysuckle warmed up with a sweet amber base.

8. Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
Top Notes: Grapefruit, Quince
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Hyacinth
Base Notes: Musk, Iris, Cedar, Amber

A nice sweet, floral, light spring scent that reminds me a lot of Marc Jacobs Daisy but better.
It's light, inoffensive and perfect for day but I just wish the lasting power was better, I have to re-apply every couple of hours but I still love it.

9. Jo Malone Dark Amber and Ginger Lily

Top Notes: Black Cardamom, Ginger, Pink Pepper
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Orchid, Water Lily, Rose
Base Notes: Leather, Sandalwood, Kyara Incense, Patchouli, Black Amber

A spicy, woody scent that could be worn on either a man or woman and manage to smell quite different on both. It's quite hard to describe the scent but I can definitely pick up the ginger, pepper, jasmine and black amber but I also get a slight coconut note sitting in the background.
As far as I know this gets re-released every year around summer time so if you want to try it nows the time!

10. Vera Wang Lovestruck

Top Notes: Angelica, Mandarin Orange, Guava
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Lotus
Base Notes: Woodsy Notes, Musk

My newest favourite! I actually don't own a bottle of this just yet but as soon as I saw the bottle on this one I knew it was gonna be mine, regardless of how it smelled.
Luckily the scent is really nice, floral but quite sweet too, kinda reminds me of Viva La Juicy mixed with  Vera Wang Princess. Actually it's also very similar to Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods but a little softer.

What are your Top 10?
